      Good Place for Development - BI Developer Corpay Employee Review

      Pros

      If you want to work on a wide variety of stuff and have the freedom to operate independently then it’s a good place to be. The company moves relatively quickly so things are generally always in a state of flux. They have a continuous M&A process, so there are often new product lines and initiatives being implemented. Lots of people have grown into different roles internally, so if you’re patient, then there is the opportunity to develop and move into different functional/skill areas. Retention is pretty good for a business of this size, and, generally speaking, it’s a pleasant place to work with good people.

      Cons

      Often times very chaotic and there are teams overlapping on their work and areas of responsibility. Communication is a big weak point internally, so you really have to go searching for information and find the right people to speak to - often it’s not clear who is doing what. But that’s probably just the nature of the beast, being that they have ~8k employees worldwide.

      I honestly cannot think of any..

      Probably the worst company I have ever worked for. I get hired and thrown into a 2 week training program that has nothing to do my role. Start making calls and as soon as I “think” I’m improving, quota changes and becomes unrealistic with the way the distribution of leads are handled. You have to hope a manager is kind enough to let you have a successful day. As far as management, they were very distracting. Loud and talk about nothing as reps are told to focus and rely on a sales method that was dumped on the company. If you are a person that wants to progress and is focused on tasks, this job is not for you. It’s a rat race full of favorites.
