Pros

Our whole department was remote so that allowed for a lot of flexibility with schedules and some work/life balance.

Cons

So many cons. Tons of turnover. I had 8 bosses in the 5 years I worked there and was about to have my 9th when I left. The executive leadership is horrible. They need to stop hiring management consultants to be senior leaders and hire people with actual people-management experience. There is no opportunity for advancement. Even though I knew more about marketing and the workings of the company and our department than my most recent boss, I could never get noticed or promoted. I was doing at least two jobs instead of the one I was hired to do. Leadership has no plans or goals to work toward. Every day is like the wild, wild, west and is determined by whatever "hot potato" project leadership has on their minds that day. Nothing to work toward. You constantly feel like your wheels are spinning but you're getting nowhere. No sense of accomplishment as nothing is ever done and priorities keep changing. Also, the workload is insane! I would often work way into the night to juggle all the projects I had going on, just to make minimal progress due to changing and overwhelming priorities. Again, none of this hard work was ever acknowledged or appreciated by leadership and never led to a promotion for all of my diligent hard work and loyalty.

Thank you for sharing your detailed experience as a Marketing Campaign and Operations Manager and your years of dedication to Corpay. Your contributions have been invaluable, and we truly regret to hear that your time with us was filled with so many challenges. We appreciate the honesty and thoughtfulness in your feedback. While it's encouraging to know that the flexibility of remote work offers some work-life balance, the issues you've raised regarding leadership, high turnover, lack of advancement, and overwhelming workloads are deeply concerning. Having eight managers in five years and navigating shifting priorities without clear goals is far from the structured and supportive environment we aim to provide. Your comments about leadership lacking people-management experience and the absence of a clear vision highlight areas where we need to make significant improvements. We want to assure you that we are committed to these changes. Employees should feel empowered, supported, and recognized for their hard work, not overlooked or burdened with unclear priorities and unreasonable expectations. The lack of acknowledgment and opportunities for growth you experienced is unacceptable, and we are committed to addressing these issues. We deeply appreciate your advice about hiring experienced leaders who prioritize people management and fostering a transparent vision. Your insights are invaluable, and we are committed to implementing these changes. We also take seriously the need for leadership to advocate for their teams, ensuring that workloads are manageable and that employees clearly understand how their work contributes to broader goals. We deeply appreciate your contributions and the time you spent at Corpay. Your dedication and hard work have been invaluable to us. Feedback like yours is crucial as we strive to make meaningful changes and improve the experiences of our employees. We wish you all the best in your future endeavors.

Thank you for sharing your feedback and for your contributions at Corpay. We appreciate your recognition of the strong work-life balance and management support you experienced. It is valuable to know that aspects of your time here were positive and well-supported. At the same time, we understand how deeply that experience can change when repeated layoffs begin to affect not only teams, but also the leaders and managers employees rely on most. When layoffs feel widespread and disconnected from performance or productivity, it can create a strong sense of instability and uncertainty for everyone who remains. Employees want to believe that hard work, consistency, and contribution matter, and when that connection feels unclear, it can seriously impact morale, trust, and long-term confidence in the organization. Your feedback highlights the significant impact leadership decisions have on the employee experience. Even with a strong team culture, workforce reductions can overshadow daily positives and leave employees feeling unsettled or undervalued. The loss of trusted colleagues can make it challenging to maintain engagement, support, and balance. Thank you for sharing your perspective and advice. Your feedback underscores the importance of employees feeling heard and respected during major decisions. It also reminds leadership to listen closely to those closest to the work and culture.
