Pros
Good work/life balance, pleasant bright people, mutual respect, fast pace - quick turnaround times. Quite democratic at times - can be a negative too, cause no accountability for major decisions.
Cons
The biggest problems at Cortera are the constant change of direction and no market value proposition. If you are in sales or marketing you will feel it the most. You may not have the job in only a few months after you got hired, no matter what they told you in the beginning. Plus you can't sell/market effectively a product that's completely different one month to the next. Overall there's little concern for the individual. Crappy health benefits kick in months after you start; misleading contract terms - bonuses that you never hear about. There's no path to promotion or any kind of individual recognition. There are even no name plates on cubicles or offices -- that says a lot. You give your best for the common good, BUT, they get rid of you in a heartbeat.
