Pros
The department I worked in at Corteva was absolutely fantastic. Management trusted you to do your work and colleagues were quick to help each other and fun to work with. I got to work with top of the line, cutting edge technology and we were leaders in the industry for what we were doing. On site fitness facility was great and had lots of events and opportunities to connect with other colleagues. Pay was good for the area and benefits were decent as well. Work schedule was very flexible.
Cons
Management would try their best to boost you up but promotions were few and far between. Being in the Ag industry was rough at times as it brings in a certain mindset from people in other parts of the company that were very anti-science despite the fact that science is what was driving the company. (Think right wing conspiracy stuff being thrown into chats for all company meetings). People who really didn't deserve to be promoted would get promotions over qualified individuals just because they were there longer.
