Pros

There is some opportunities for growth but you have to put up with a lot to get them. Many of the associates are great and their is a lot of team building, it just stops at the management level.

Cons

The company culture is slipping, they don't even abide by their own guidelines when it comes to employee expectations. There is no support to fix problems and if you bring up an issue there is a higher chance you're risking your employment and actually being helped. Corporate puts no stake in the value of their people and will happily place blame on individuals if it takes it off of them. It's just becoming an increasingly sad and exhausting place to work.

Hello, Thank you so much for taking the time to leave us your feedback and for being an associate at Cortland for over five years. At Cortland, we believe that the success of our company is largely dependent on our adherence to our company’s core values. We do our best to work with these values as a guide in everything we do, so it is very disappointing to hear that you have had these experiences during your time with us. In particular, one of our core values is to do the right thing for the right reason. In some instances, this means taking responsibility when things go awry. I would greatly appreciate a chance to speak with you in regards to these concerns and how we can work to avoid similar frustrations moving forward. Could you please reach out at kerry.crowley@cortland.com to discuss? I look forward to assisting you. -Kerry C., Managing Director
