Pros
-Start up environment means lot of opportunities to explore projects beyond your current role -A rare bird in the outdoor industry that practices what they preach about wanting you to get outside and enjoy the spaces that made you so passionate about this industry -Truly cares about their people and values their team (executive team really reflects this) -For a young company they've done a relatively exceptional job at putting the right people in the right roles from a leadership perspective -Knowing that they are young and growing up the ladder will be slow during this period, they strongly encourage people to find other ways to lead within the organization and engage with the rest of the team -Though it has been going through some cleaning up, everyone on the team truly believes in and strives to do meaningful work with meaningful impact on the community and the world around them. It is incredibly refreshing so long as naivete doesn't impede
Cons
-Start environment also means resource and band width can be limited -The benefits could eventually use a little improvement but is also comes with the territory of being a young company -What does someone have to do to find a stapler around here? But seriously, start ups amirite :) -Also wished we had actual desks, offices, etc with stability and privacy combined with the open tables for those that want that
