Cotopaxi is in good hands. - The manager-subordinate relation is friendly and open, which allows to have a great mentor to guide your tasks, but also a good friend to listen to your work frustrations - As long as you get your job done, there's a lot of time flexibility to go pick up your kids, visit the doctor or any other errand that you need to run.
Cons
- Salary in general is lower than in other similar companies, but one must have in mind that the start up will eventually become a big company ($$). - Since it's a start up company, options for advancement are limited, but you might take on a lot more responsibility than the same position elsewhere, so you may not have the title (or salary), but you might be learning as much as any other manager out there. - In start-ups, everyone gets to do a bit of everything, but at Cotopaxi, sometimes is a LOT of everything, which may make your world overloaded and overwhelming. - No benefits like 401, roth, tuition reimbursement, etc.
