Service staff are overworked, underappreciated and underpaid. A lot of importance is placed on client retention, but the people doing the day to day work of keeping clients happy are not respected or appreciated. If you do a great job, you will be given more work without a promotion or raise, and if you raise concerns about workload you will be viewed as not being a team player.
