Pros

Good pay considering they don’t require license, easy to advance in company, residents are very lovely as well as their families. Most coworkers are helpful and the training is nice and detailed. You can get your cpr and first aid license for free.

Cons

Management sometimes was not understanding. Schedulers would text me everyday and ask me to come in and work hours, and when I was working theyd ask me to stay later and work on other ends of the building last minute. I am unsure who to go to when I need help or want to talk about issues I’m having because my side manager is hard to get a hold of. I am a nursing student and all I want is my part time hours and nothing more so I can focus on school and they always try to weasel me in or find an excuse to schedule me more than my scheduled hours.

I have been at Country Meadows for over 17 years, as have many of my teammates. One of the things I value most is working for a truly family-owned company where the owners are actively involved in the day-to-day operations. They genuinely care for both employees and residents.

Cons

There is a lot to do in a day's work, however it is very rewarding.
