Pros
great pay and excellent benefits, tuition assistance, good medical, and dental plans, good working environment, great people to work with. Really good opportunities if you are mobile, have a degree, and willing to relocate to another state.
Cons
A lot of change is occurring currently so many people are having to relocate or find other work outside of CA. Culture is changing, used to be much more pro employee, still head and shoulders above most companies. You WILL need a degree to advance so expect to have one or get one.
