Pros

I enjoyed my time at Coyne & Associates. The training was comprehensive and their organization is better than other agencies. They provide you with a lot of resources and items that can be used for motivation. Their program for eye contact is amazing. Dr. Coyne is a very knowledgeable man and is very invested in the field. Got some good experience there that I will continue to use no matter what agency I go to. Overall, a positive experience

Cons

Hard to advance. When I was there, most supervisors had a BA, but apart from Coyne, no real ABA experience. That has probably changed now, thanks to healthcare and DDS. The director of our office was not very approachable and very cold. Even parents didn't like her. I had a MA while there and was never given a supervision role. Becoming a trainer was impossibly hard and came down to the subjective opinion of one person.

Pros

Great experience if you want to work with children with complex needs in the future. BCBA’s are helpful.

Cons

It can be a physically and mentally demanding job so always ask for support when you need it.

Pros

• this company seriously advocates for their employees mental wellbeing • they are very attentive to their employees and professional • last minute cancellations are paid for and if you do get a cancellation, there are many many sub sessions that they have that they offer you. It’s not very often where they don’t have a sub session for you to accept. • great communication • amazing compensation for wasted time/drive time/waiting periods/cancellations

Cons

• a lot a lot of driving which can cause that draining feeling • no clinic, session is held in-home • no extra pay for RBTs & they do not pay for you to get your RBT certification but there is an opportunity to apply as a trainer to new employees every 6 months. • not a good work/life balance for me since there’s so much driving • hourly is low but good for a start
