Pros

Good experience, excellent trainers, majority of supervisors supportive. Training Coordinator and Assistant (Denisse & Kristy) very approachable, Clinical Director Karlene Contreras very supportive and experienced.

Cons

Full time employees must use PTO when needing sick days. This means, no vacation if you catch a cold or stomach bug. Lots of driving, though they make attempts to keep your driving radius small. Lots of cancellations, not much opportunity for redirects. May volunteer for weekend make-ups. Some supervisors care only about being right or getting work done, care less about child's progress or instructor's concerns. Parents can make unfounded complaints about teachers, company will accept and act upon complaints.

Pros

Great experience if you want to work with children with complex needs in the future. BCBA’s are helpful.

Cons

It can be a physically and mentally demanding job so always ask for support when you need it.

Pros

• this company seriously advocates for their employees mental wellbeing • they are very attentive to their employees and professional • last minute cancellations are paid for and if you do get a cancellation, there are many many sub sessions that they have that they offer you. It’s not very often where they don’t have a sub session for you to accept. • great communication • amazing compensation for wasted time/drive time/waiting periods/cancellations

Cons

• a lot a lot of driving which can cause that draining feeling • no clinic, session is held in-home • no extra pay for RBTs & they do not pay for you to get your RBT certification but there is an opportunity to apply as a trainer to new employees every 6 months. • not a good work/life balance for me since there’s so much driving • hourly is low but good for a start
