      Successful growing business that puts people and customers first. Clear strategy - based on incredible micro-optics security technology. Cohesive leadership team that communicates well. Great focus on Safety & Quality, underpinned by world-class Lean manufacturing & continuous improvement processes. Exciting opportunities to take technology into Product Authentication market. What’s not to like about literally making money?

      Cons

      Crane Co brings a strong process focus, but as an industrial conglomerate doesn’t really appear to add much value to the Currency business. That said, the connection with Crane Payment Innovations (who make cash acceptance machines) works well.

      Pros

      The people in Nashua are great to work with and everyone really cares about making a fantastic product. The culture of safety and quality are outstanding. Those that I worked with at other sites were all well versed in their areas and most people generally wanted to help move improvements and the business forward.

      Cons

      Upper management within Crane Currency is fractured and doesn't provide clear direction or priorities. Several vice presidents will have initiatives they are driving, requiring work by the same group of people at the site without planning for the resourcing required or adjusting timelines.
