Pros
Creative hires smart people and provides a wide range of opportunities for staff to apply their background and experience not only to their their specific roles but also to other areas of the organization that could benefit from that experience. There are tons of opportunities both formal and informal to learn and grow at Creative. Brow bags, training and classes take place weekly and cover technical areas, development topics and "need to know" skills. Colleagues are supportive across all levels so you don't need to look too far to find a helping hand. The organization definitely thrives on self starters who take initiative. In my time here I have been encouraged to bring new ideas and innovations to the table for consideration and implementation. I would definitely recommend Creative, especially to young professionals who are passionate about the mission because there are tremendous opportunities to contribute to an organization that supports underserved communities worldwide.
Cons
Creative is growing and with that comes the usual growing pains. The President is super committed to Creative and its staff and from what I have seen is working to make necessary changes that support growth.
