Pros

Truly not your typical overworked advertising agency environment! The team is filled with kind, smart people who very much care about their work, but also ensure every individual has work life balance. Working more than 40 hours per week is absolutely not the norm AND you are compensated well with great benefits! They are also always working to improve their benefits package to better take care of employees and stay competitive in the hiring landscape. The team has the utmost respect for clients and influencers alike. The clients are phenomenal and the quality of work Creator Deck provides is top notch. The team does not cut corners and actually delivers on white glove service. That being said, it is expected from top to bottom that healthy boundaries are established and maintained in order to protect the quality of work and performance for the brands. Creator Deck also has a clear growth path and dedicates a lot of time to growing each individual professionally, something many ad agencies have a hard time doing when client work constantly gets prioritized, burning out employee enthusiasm quickly.

Cons

You must be able to pivot quickly and adjust your timelines and goals as things within campaigns change, but this is true of most marketing jobs. You also are always expected to be camera on for calls, but you get used to it fairly quickly!

Pros

The only pro is they let you work remote

Cons

The worst workplace I’ve ever come across. I was employed there for over a year doing anything and everything salary workers asked me to do. My manager for Maybelline often asked me to work overtime without pay. I saw so much turnover there and was there longer than some of the salary workers. Starting January 1st they stopped responding to all of our messages for days, until someone else from another team messaged us letting us know our hours were reduced until Feb. 1st. After weeks of no contact, I emailed multiple people for answers and no one would respond. I was never let go from Creator Deck, but simply ignored until I finally gave up trying to work for them. I still have never had a response to any of my 12 emails to management and the team in charge of contract employees. Genuinely the worst I’ve ever been treated by a company and would highly recommend you avoid them. All the salary workers before leaving said this company will not last and is ran very poorly.
