Pros
When a recruiter contacted me about an opportunity at HQ, I was initially skeptical. I didn't know a lot about subprime financing, and wasn't sure I wanted to work in the dry, financial industry, but I did some research, and was impressed by the number of work-place awards the company had won. Through the interview process I learned a lot about what drives the company, and it all comes down to aligning the work with core values and aggressive long term goals. Its a great feeling knowing that everyone, regardless of their department, are working towards the same goals. The "listening culture" is also great. I haven't had an issue or suggestion yet, but its nice to know that there are several channels available for me to not only make suggestions on how to improve the workplace, but that they will actually be heard and considered.
Cons
I can't think of any major cons of working here. I feel that my direct manager is very receptive to feedback and open to discussing any challenges I may have. Upper management is also receptive to feedback and suggestions.
