Pros
Decent work life balance and good benefits
Cons
Completely unrealistic goals. You are just a number at Credit Acceptance and not a person. Managers do not care about you and corporate lies about the culture. It is cut throat environment and managers love to lead their districts with fear tactics. Constant threats and so many great MAMs have left the company and so many others are placed on performance plans. The treatment we received during COVID is unbelievable. The CEO initially put out positive messages but those stopped quickly and then the reign of terror started. The product is sub standard but corporate is oblivious and does nothing to help. They actually believe the product is great and only care about their horribly inflated stock prices. It’s like a cult. One day it will all come crashing down on them. Myself along with me other great MAMs are looking for other jobs. Do NOT apply to any MAM position and do not believe any of the garbage the recruiters dish out (they know nothing about the role anyways). It’s a very toxic environment and I can’t wait to get out!
