Pros

Opportunities for growth and development. Good support from knowledgeable and capable managers in core competencies. Decent flexibility with working arrangement with on-site, hybrid, remote positions. Can offer challenging work to demonstrate competencies and capabilities, with work bouncing between a medium to fast pace based upon project schedule.

Cons

Harder to move up in compensation early in career then start ahead with experience, school fresh outs will quickly desire more competitive salaries as year over year adjustments don't keep up with value developed in early years in technically complex roles.

Pros

Relaxed. Management understands traditional AV industry is saturated and is trying hard to pivot the company into new direction. Whether it will work or not is to be seen.

Cons

This place really needs to re-evaluate how they hire and retain engineers. Across all disciplines, there are many senior level engineers who have no idea what they are doing. Some lack such basic engineering skills and knowledge which makes one wonder if they had proper higher level education or lied about their past career experiences on their resume. Most of them are genuinely nice people, but they are really dragging down productivity.
