Pros

Better than average benefits. Weekend off rotation model (rare to find in any customer facing role). Great PTO (no sick days) Great overall culture, and the training is top notch. Upper management is very visible, and in my first 30 days of employment I had personal conversations with both the CEO Bill Dahm, and the COO Billy Schaming. Great guys that I hold in high esteem.

Cons

Only 50% match on 401k. It can be a very demanding work environment, in management especially, as Crew operates at the highest level of customer service and operational excellence. It is really easy for work to bleed over into personal life, lots of things you use for the job (emails, the platform used for Work Orders, Maintenance assignments, and Operational Checklists, and the Wash Statistics App) are expected to be on your personal phone. As a result it’s hard not be “at work off the clock”. Could be nice to have management personnel issued company phones, or at least offered a phone bill credit for their carrier. Anything to help improve that work/life balance, and cut down on burnout. Only other real con is the near constant policy/procedure updates pushed out by main office. To be expected to an extent when you’re part of an organization at the forefront of innovation, and an industry leader. However some of these changes can feel suspiciously like busywork, and could be more effectively communicated down to the store level.

Cons

Weather changes can be difficult but Crew prepares staff for it, both hit and cold.

Pros

Some things I truly enjoy about crew is the growth you’re able to make within the company. I started as a full time associate, now I’m a shift manager looking into going into maintenance. Theres a lot of opportunities here within the company you just need the opportunity.

Cons

Very strict rules and guidelines for nonsensical acts. I don’t want to be nit picky or anything what so ever and i understand that we want to be profitable and hold each other accountable. But one thing I would like to see change in is easing the restrictions along personal promotion when service advising. Does the CFM work and are we profitable, yes but almost all of my associates here at my location feel like robots and it’s undermining how they feel just to be profitable.
