Pros

Fun - You will legitimately have fun every day Engaging - You'll never be bored Helping people - You get to be the best part of someone's day The company's leadership is outstanding, The management structure & pay scale is completely transparent; no bogus politics. The company has been around since 1948 and therefore there is a proven successful process for every element of the business. As a manager, you are set up for success. Change & suggestions are always welcomed, but at no point has there ever been a situation where there wasn't a solution to a problem or process for an issue. Management is super engaged and nobody is in leadership that shouldn't be there - which is a first for the companies I've worked at. Crew has high standards for professionalism, which results is a super positive work environment where people actually want to be here. Also - the carwash is literally incredible. It's technically impressive, well-built, and does a fantastic job making cars look like they're brand new while keeping them safe. Working here you will be proud to stand behind such a great service to the general public. Every day you'll leave with a sense of accomplishment, knowing you helped a lot of people in your community, and had fun with your coworkers. That's worth a heck of a lot in terms of job satisfaction I'd say. Coming to work at Crew is the best decision I've made in my career overall, and I plan to stay at this company a very long time!

Cons

The business is open from 7:00am-9:00pm daily; which is great for our customers. This is where you could see the hours as both positive or negative - it depends on your schedule. For the most part, it's very flexible to what you need. That being said, managers are required to open / close a specific amount of days per week, and a specific amount of weekend days per month depending on what level of management you are. Doesn't change the fact that all the benefits listed above still hold very true, but from a purely scheduling standpoint if you're used to M-F 9-5, this will be a shift. Crew is competitive with pay between the posted pay range + incentive pay for those early on in their career. Those making a career pivot to come work at Crew will have a harder time with the pay transition just due to the nature of the business model.

Weather changes can be difficult but Crew prepares staff for it, both hit and cold.

Pros

Some things I truly enjoy about crew is the growth you’re able to make within the company. I started as a full time associate, now I’m a shift manager looking into going into maintenance. Theres a lot of opportunities here within the company you just need the opportunity.

Cons

Very strict rules and guidelines for nonsensical acts. I don’t want to be nit picky or anything what so ever and i understand that we want to be profitable and hold each other accountable. But one thing I would like to see change in is easing the restrictions along personal promotion when service advising. Does the CFM work and are we profitable, yes but almost all of my associates here at my location feel like robots and it’s undermining how they feel just to be profitable.
