Pros

Fully remote work, with some business travel every 1-2 months that last about a week. Learned a lot in a short time as you get exposed to many clients. Relatively high pay. Friendly co-workers, managers, and partners (at least in my business unit)

Cons

Poor work-life balance as working overtime and weekends was very commonplace to meet deadlines, but I think this is shared among the consulting industry in general. Inconsistent direction from managers.

Friendly coworkers and exposure to a variety of client engagements.

Cons

Like most public accounting firms, the work-life balance isn't great during busy season.

Pros

As a working parent there is a ton of flexibility and understanding for my needs at home. This has enabled me to work through busy seasons without a ton of extra stress.

Cons

Recent return to office mandates are hard for employees who were hired on remote and don’t live near an office.
