Pros

Do not work for Cru

this is filled to the brim with people who are lazy, have no sense of work boundaries, and many of them are illegally avoiding taxes. Run from this company

Cru Response

I'm sorry for your experience. I've worked with Cru for 43 years and not had the experiences you reference. As a Christian organization, we obviously would not want any of the things you say to be true. If you would be willing to share your experiences with your HR leader, we would be willing to look at any your concerns.

Pros

There are many pros to working with Cru. Great people and great teams doing great work in the lives of students at the campuses where they serve. You really get to know fellow coworkers well, and feel connected doing ministry together. You also get to witness firsthand what God is doing. Cru also provides good support and flexibility for needs - whether it be mental health considerations, having children, or needing help on the job. There is also great training provided for the role.

Cons

Support raising can be challenging, even with support and training. National seems to be a little disconnected from campus teams at times.
