Pros
- The people here are some of the most intelligent people I have ever worked with. The things you overhear in casual conversation blow my mind on a daily basis. - Company is growing rapidly, which provides opportunity to grow in your career. - CEO is always around, open to talk to anyone, occasionally still writes code, and is just generally a pretty normal pleasant person. - The mission and goals are clear and the entire company is driving towards the same thing. - People get along and collaborate. There is conflict like any other company but people know how to communicate and solve problems amicably. - Catered lunch is a nice perk, pretty standard considering the location of the office. - More snacks than you will ever want to eat. - 401k matching.... free money is nice. - Lots of pretty cars. - Monthly off-site happy hours.
Cons
- We are outgrowing our office very fast and the new one won't be built out in time. This is a bigger deal than people want to admit. - Open office space in general is pretty distracting.
