Cons
Pay isn’t comparable to industry (tech startup operations people generally make more). Mapping operations is very disfuncfional. Talented but over looked contracting workforce. Horrible middle and upper management practices. Management leaving and being replaced with no explanation. Restructured department being hoisted by hopes and dreams ( the corporate version of “thoughts and prayers”). My peers had no experience managing people or in operations. Most toxic workplace I’ve experienced yet. Too much bureaucracy. No big picture thinking. Horrible workplace culture. The team has full time employees that are separated from larger company ops and not included in larger company discussions. There is a lot of micromanagement from Product Ops. And very little respect for worklife balance.
