Pros
Overall rating - 1.5 but rounding up to 2. I truly enjoyed working here my first two years. People on all teams were collaborative and friendly. The end of year bonus structure is generous and it seems that there's finally a fully-staffed Compensation team dedicated to improving pay ranges. Working on AVs is interesting.
Cons
- There is not a lot of transparency with funding and lots of mixed signals about runway (layoffs but CEO attempting to acquire other companies) - Stunted career growth on all sides - Upper management, especially on the HR and People teams, is incredibly biased and seem to prioritize hiring their friends for senior roles (Dropbox, BlackRock, Goldman Sachs, FB, Google) and like to empire build their orgs; also, no one holds them accountable - HR issues and tickets take a long time to resolve - OKRs are quantitative but not qualitative - Too much spend and focus on Marketing and Brand, it is embarrassing - Culture promise "YES" men and all others are penalized if they do not agree
