Pros
Overall nice company to work for. They honestly like employees to go beyond general expectations for members and because you are treated decently, you tend to want to go the extra mile. For the most part you feel appreciated, however, in sales along with operations , you're as good as your last success.
Cons
The fitness industry has changed tremendously over the last 3yrs. enabling many different choices at much lower prices. Though Crunch emphasizes customer service, consumers are educating themselves to make different choices when it comes to choosing their workout space, which may not includes spending over $100 per month. With that said there's a lot of "hurry up and wait" going on, so you must prospect really diligently and work referrals. People aren't walking through the door like back in the day and that can make it extremely difficult to make your monthly goals and sell personal training, then because of these factors, making ends meet has been proving more and more discouraging. Due to pay and bonus structures, also, where the gym you are working is located, management seems to make more money and stay longer i.e. General Managers, Regional Managers, Personal Training Managers, Membership Directors.
