I have been working at CTL engineering, Environmental Department since April, 2016. Since I am a foreign student, I had researched the company and had also checked the comments/feedback on this website. First I was a taken back by some comments, specifically about treatment of women. But later applied anyway and first worked as an Intern to check out the environment. Based on my personal experience, this department provided me with a unique opportunity of working and learning at the same time. The manager has a leading-based attitude and treats his team members as valuable assets. In this environment, you feel yourself in a family rather than a boring work place. My experience in working in other department of this company was the same. The working time flexibility is incredible and opportunities for cross training to develop various skills are plentiful. As a woman, I am always respected while notified respectfully if I had any mistakes or misunderstanding. I am convinced that the harsh comments about women on this website was made by a disgruntled employee and does not reveal the true workings of this company.
