Pros
I was cashier/bookkeeper/CSM. Loved my coworkers and customers.
Cons
Being a union company the raises were horrible, you get pennies. Union dues were taking out of your check, but when you needed their assistance they sided with management. There is no compassion from management, I had a serious illness and the day after I got out of the hospital, I was asked, by my boss, when I was coming back as they really needed me, WOW! I worked for them for 18 years and never got full time, though they know how to work the system and they always chose their favorites (even if they were on the bottom of the seniority list). Management likes to label, if they didn't like you, they let you know. I was told they came first and my family came second, if I was scheduled to work when I had family commitments I had to miss it. Vacations had to be preapproved but that didn't guarantee you would get it. I worked every weekend and holiday and it took an act of God to get a weekend off. Not a great company to work for. I don't miss it and when I finally left, I never looked back.
