Pros

The managers, when they actually have the time for you are pretty decent and encouraging. They are willing to give most employees who have been inactive for a long time like me a proper shot at the location. The managers also appreciate constructive criticism and don't have any ego about the chain's history or their Positions in the company. They don't have any issue with you taking any amount of sick days off, though they do require you ATM to get tested for flu or COVID before returning.

Cons

Despite being a member of the clean team department, they rarely allow me to work simultaneously with another co-worker and instead book me solo with most of my shifts. This gets especially difficult when they book me during the "Lunch rush" aka the busy hours of the day. The Equipment I need to do to my job is either misplaced or broken most of the time. As such, there are days when they need to take other people away from their jobs to help me which is extremely embarassing. I am overworked so much some days that I either pass out due to exhaustion in the break room or my knees/feet are in extreme pain by the time I'm done with work. I am constantly bullied by other staff members for sitting down and hydrating myself after working 40 minutes on highly stressful job roles like pushing carts or cleaning bathrooms. The Security staff is just the worst. Not only do they rarely deescalate intense situations but some make my job a nightmare by taking buggies for physically disabled people and sit and ride on them for hours on end, steal water meant to keep me hydrated, or curse me out whenever they feel I'm not doing my job well enough. I was hired during the job interview because of their need for members during the morning hours. That changed after 3 weeks on the job when they had me scheduled to work the night shift and later the afternoons. I cannot have a proper conversation with the scheduler about anything and have to constantly remind her when I'm available. Apparently, this is a common complaint about everyone has and 4 people have quit in the past month due to this inconsistency in booking.
