There are garden variety gripes that are present in every company - too much mandatory training, and all of the annoying PC stuff that is present all throughout society.
The most problematic issue is the instability from company leadership. One of our subordinate companies in the transportation field just had a CEO removed after less than one year in the position, in which he was able to secure a very large international deal that bailed the company out of what would have been a weak year due to pandemic. A number of other senior leaders have been pushed out, and a lot more of them are worried of the same. What do people think happens when all of management is worried they are going to get fired? They look for other jobs, and then everything underneath them falls apart.
Leadership has little focus on long-term success, choosing to focus only on short-term survival. Competitors run laps around us in many regards, including better direct support to customers.
We are also fully dedicated to the religion of COVID, with employees now being threatened with termination for the slightest violations, which of course "violations" differ from state to state, region to region. One president of a critical sales sector, the one running everyone off, expects every door to be knocked on, while the CEO threatens employment stability with COVID regulations. We are to be aggressive and passive at the same time.
