Pros

*Hired after a 5 min interview. * Will hire age 16 (first job) * Will feel like family if they let you "in" * A lot of cool, fun people * Flexible * Great Food

Cons

*Peers will exploit your "team mentality". If you don't have boundaries, your peers may take advantage of you or abuse your willingness to help them (i.e. ask you a "big favor" of wiping down tables so they can go talk to their friends in the kitchen instead of doing their job) *Team members will also pressure you to "switch jobs" with them if they were assigned grunt work vs food running or whatever you were assigned for your shift. Say no. *Some managers and peers at this location use passive aggressive language and behavior when you are not doing something correctly or the way they would expect. This seems to be the norm. * They know bullying is a problem. On the board in the back it says, "Don't bully people". Then someone erased "Don't". *One manager yelled at me and used shame and humiliation to correct a mistake I made. It left the rest of team speechless. He could have handled it kindly and firmly to teach me something. I am shocked he is a manager. *The one shift a week they scheduled me to work, they constantly asked if I wanted to leave early. *Some of the management make it clear they do not want to develop you to be your best. I am neurodivergent, but I am smart, social, hardworking and capable. The way they treat you if they don't want you to work there is they openly devalue you and reduce your hours down to 1 shift until you quit.

Pros

Culver's is filled with growth, not just financially, but also for one's personal development as a whole. Working at Culver's is a great way to build skills in efficiency, communication, and hospitality, as these are all practiced during each shift. The culture of this company is built off of doing the right thing and practicing kindness, while delighting in every moment. I feel fulfilled working here and I love the people I work with and the culture the company fosters. Culver's cares about their customers and employees alike, and gives you a reason to be excited to show up for work. I highly recommend working for this company.

Cons

There are no major cons concerning working at Culver's, although the environment is fast-paced and may not be for everyone. Culver's has high standards, especially compared to other restaurants in the same industry. There will be some differences between the franchise group one works for, but overall there are few cons.

Pros

They pay pretty well ngl

Cons

Literally everything else. This is deadass just Hell 2.0 istg. Constantly busy, passive-aggressive old customers, annoying teenage customers, fast-paced very severely, always loud, always hot, and the business attracts the worst kinds of people by being the epitome of a conservative wet-dream (American flags, crosses, country music on the speakers). Sometimes I wish that I would get in a car crash or get shot so I wouldn’t have to go to work. Sometimes it gets so stressful, I go to freezer (while sweating due to heat and fast-paced demands) and cry silently or scream in defeat and exhaustion. Nothing in my life has made me want to blow my shi smoove off more than anything else. This place is a nightmare, with every tiny detail specialized by Satan himself, purely for the suffering of employees.
