Pros

Flexible hours for time spent at facility

Cons

—Pay is productivity only with no support staff to help with the unpaid tasks required in facilities. —Charting is non-stop because time spent in the facility includes a lot of unpaid admin tasks —the contracts are in particularly bad facilities in Charlotte, which makes it difficult to find viable visits —no support from upper management (even when promised) —system for tracking paid RVUs is difficult and very time consuming —it is difficult to make a good salary due to lack of admin/support staff and because the facilities in Charlotte are staffed with too many APPs, making it difficult to find enough patients who need to be seen —poor staff morale in Charlotte when I worked for Curana

EHR Charting is time consuming but they did start an AI charting program that has improved the charting No paid sick time

Pros

You’re getting paid biweekly. It’s Monday thru Friday. No weekends. Clinic hours 9-4. Café is located across from the clinic just a few footsteps away.

Cons

Management and other employees don’t know the office workflow and they tend to make workflow changes on the fly and change policies around every second. As well as if they don’t like you , you will get threatened to lose your employment . They will put words in your mouth you never said and change it for their own benefit. I wouldn’t recommend it and some patients have entitlement issues so they think they can speak to you anyway. Provider talks to you any type of of way no office etiquette. You can know the job and be effective and still won’t be enough.
