Pros

- I was Salary, so I actually got paid on time.

Neopotisim is rampant, there is little to no accountability for C-Levels. No communication, between teams which leads to work outages, tons of extra work for the regular folks, people not getting paid, etc. Expect to have no Work / Life Balance at all. Expect to work all Holidays, including Christmas Day. One of our Ex-Managers favorite sayings was "You guys get paid all the time, so you should be working all the time." He would say this in meetings as his boss sat there and smiled. This same manager bullied and threatened our team for over a year while his boss let it slide. Someone finally went to HR, the investigation went on for TWO MONTHS while this manager doubled-down and continued to bully and threaten the team daily. He was only let go when he made one the top execs angry, at which point he was fired immediately. The HR person who had advocated for our team was also fired shortly afterwards. I cannot stress enough that there are so many people in positions here who quite frankly are no where near qualified for the jobs they are expected to do, if you work here you will of course be expected to cover for those people hired through nepotism and to clean up all messes caused by the people hired through nepotism, a couple examples: Early this year it was decided to change HR Software. NO TESTING WAS DONE it was just ... rolled out. This caused Hourly employees to not be paid for several months. Problems with this HR software continue on a daily basis to this day. After three massive layoffs (because the Government was no longer paying for COVID Tests) a decision was made to turn off a majority of the WiFi HotSpots in the field. No planning or communication was done, and Curative managed to shoot themselves in both feet and disabled a huge number of the HotSpots still in use. This directly effected the people in the field at testing stations, the people who actually generate money for Curative. Neither of the people in charge of IT thought this was something that needed to be addressed at a higher level, and the problem has persisted for over a month, only becoming an "issue" when a frustrated field worker posted a message in the Exec Channel, and it became a hot issue as the folks at the top realized this was actually hurting their bottom line. During the last mass layoff, several key personnel who were part of the team who actually keeps this sinking ship afloat were fired. Again, no planning was done at all. These folks were fired because the people gathering / demanding metrics had no idea how to use the software they were using to generate reports. They also never thought through how this was going to effect support coverage until the people had been fired and this was brought up in a team meeting. The remaining members were expected to work even more hours and every weekend to clean up the mess. Several people left / are leaving because of this. Imagine not having a day off, just working every single day, until your bosses get around to hiring replacement for the people that shouldn't have been let go in the first place. Imagine not being able to do anything with your family for MONTHS while the people who caused go and enjoy their own vacation. This is exactly what happened. Asset Management has been a joke for over two years, we recently discovered that the team managing it had never done asset management previously, but refused to allow anyone to assist them. One of the IT people discovered a way to easily reconcile our inventory using existing documentation and brought this to the top leadership team and the team in charge of our Inventory, siting examples of how this could be fixed pretty quickly. It was shot down out of hand. A directive later came down that in an effort to reclaim equipment that was not able to be located due to extremely poor asset management, the IT Team was now expected to email and call ex-employees at their personal email addresses and personal phone numbers, and basically hound these poor people like a debt collector. IT was expected to do this using their personal phones and work email addresses, which in turn led to IT personal getting threats on their personal devices, etc. At one location several buildings were purchased. Again, no communication with the people who would be getting these new buildings ready for occupation (IT and Facilities). Suddenly Execs started showing up, trying to work in buildings that had no power, no internet, and in some cases no walls as facilities had been pulling asbestos. The IT people were expected to constantly drop everything to drive their personal vehicles all over Austin at all hours in a scramble to provide services that in 90% of the time they had no control over (Power / Internet). The Execs became abusive and never were able to put together that if Spectrum has not ran fiber and turned on service and the equipment configured, there would not be usable the non-existent WiFi in the building. The Execs also don't feel like the companies policies apply to them, walking around without masks / PPE. This is how my entire team caught COVID. Some of the IT members have gotten COVID twice from execs refusing to follow company policy, which puts all employees and their families at home at risk of getting sick. If you are one of the plebs who actually do the work that keeps this company lurching along day to day, expect to be abused, belittled, your opinions disregarded out of hand, etc. Your personal life and a work life balance are just talking points in the Exec Town Halls, but that's just smoke being blown up your rear. They don't care about that at all.

Pros

-Some people in the company will have your back and give you a chance to show your skills -Some of the people here are very helpful(someone a lower level than me who probably should have been my level helped me so much)

Cons

-They promote negative competitions -You get a gift card like once a year and they tax it on your next check -Once we noticed salaried employees should get unlimited PTO across the company's policy; we all banded together- the loophole was to make us all hourly instead of giving us what the company offered for salary employees which they made us salary in 2 weeks after we fought the policy -The company makes many promises to everyone but can't keep it -CNs are what keeps this company afloat yet treated like slums -They hire and promote their friends in a short time while others fight for growth(not related to me but I have seen and heard some of the worse things from people who want to move up in this company. I wouldn't even dare try because they are becoming TOXIC) -They often use a group of their best employees for different things but never reward or promote them
