Work/Life Balance. I did 12 hour shifts Noc, with kids is difficult. Hard work, easily burnt out if worked to hard.

Upper management is non-communicative and never on the same page, leaving the problem to fall on the employee end.
Training is promised to get you to where you need to be but tight staffing leaves you on your own which again falls back onto the new employee feeling like they failed.
Promises for advancement but lack of follow through
