Pros
They promoted the workplace as a "family unit." All of the workers were friendly and the atmosphere promoted solidarity. Everyone worked well together and there seemed to be a general feeling of pleasantness in the workplace.
Cons
The upper management lacked a clear vision and micromanagement was a huge concern. Due to obvious favoritism, there was some animosity between certain departments. This also contributed to certain individuals who were not necessarily qualified for certain jobs being promoted into positions that they couldn't perform.
