If they cared about their employees they would give us the tools to do our job - but they don't - Project Engineer Curtiss-Wright Employee Review

Pros

I've been with the company for 5 years and there are good people in this company that have devoted themselves to designing some of the Aerospace's best products for our country. I feel great about the end products we design and know my part in our country's defense. That part is good.

Cons

Senior "leadership" does little to help us get the tools we need to do our jobs. Just dealing with the IT department is a perfect example. Upgrading my software was a nightmare and then when I finally got the auth I had to call the Help Desk (known as the "no help desk"). If they really wanted to support me they should a. Answer the PHONE b. Have techs that are qualified to support me c. Call me back like they said they would in a timely manner. So don't complain about my turnaround time when the company doesn't even have a help desk that helps its employees.

Pros

Staff appreciate the job stability, good pay/benefits relative to the Aerospace & Defense industry, and highly professional engineering teams. Many report a strong sense of purpose and trust in their immediate colleagues.

Cons

On the downside, some reviewers cite a top-heavy, process-oriented management structure, occasional disjointed communication across departments, and strict, high-pressure deadlines.
