Pros

A lot of good people work here, the food is free as well as other small perks associated with the Google campus.

Cons

For serving one of the wealthiest companies in the world in the most expensive region of the world the pay is unlivable. They will modify your job description to avoid observing your tenure and to justify hiring new employees at a higher base pay than veteran employees who are training them for the same position. Very demoralizing. Employees are taken advantage of to complete tasks completely out of scope. Management is discouraged to give above average reviews of employees to avoid paying higher yearly increases which is based on performance. The opportunity for growth within the company is minimal as they encourage hiring externally rather than promoting internally. HR is basically non-existent and all concerns voiced by employees fall on deaf ears and are not addressed amicably.

Pros

Benefits, none , nothing and don’t waste your time here

Cons

Sexist, racist, unorganized and unprofessional. Pretentious, most people act like they are too good to speak to you but would take your ideas and pass them as their own. No recognition for your hard work and innovation. Most managers are white men. Not friendly atmosphere by any means. If you’re nice and respectful, people look at you like weird. A lot of gatekeeping, and grown people cliques that will judge you instead of help you. Management will also take your ideas and present them to clients as their own. They get paid more to do absolutely nothing
