Pros
Nice PTO but not much else
Cons
They’d rather hire what’s easy from the outside than promote from within. Their priorities do not consist of your growth, only their needs. It doesn’t matter what position you apply for trying to transition from on-site to corporate, you’ll never amount to anything more than what you are. in their eyes it’s easier to hire someone externally than to give somebody a shot. This is proven time and time again when they post job openings and then internal applicants get turned down because they don’t care about you as people. The regionals are literally on site maybe once every 6-8 months at most. They are disengaged and expect managers to do everything, even when it relates to life and death situations. HR will let anybody call in sick or misbehave and will never fire someone. They have a terrible training program, policies with so many loopholes and gray areas, and corporate is pretty much hands off on anything. You have to go to so many places just to get an answer for something and some policies and resources are dated all the way back to the early 2010’s. It’s quite sad to you, because this company has potential to be great yet their leadership lacks the ability to lead people.
