Pros
There are a few talented and supportive individual contributors doing their best. Some teams genuinely try to collaborate despite the environment.
Cons
In my experience, senior management often felt unprepared to lead and frequently used their authority in a way that created fear rather than trust. Feedback and “performance concerns” sometimes appeared subjective, inconsistent, or not clearly tied to actual work outcomes. HR did not feel supportive or neutral. Processes often seemed confusing, reactive, or poorly communicated, which made already stressful situations worse. There was a noticeable amount of internal politics and game-playing that created instability and made it difficult to focus on doing good work. Overall culture felt misaligned with its stated values, which became demoralizing over time.
