The workload wasn’t the problem; the leadership culture was. Priorities changed constantly, direction shifted frequently, and expectations often changed without clear communication. It was difficult to gain momentum because projects were regularly redirected or reworked before they could be completed. The culture seemed to value being immediately responsive and highly visible over thoughtful planning and long-term execution. Rather than empowering employees, the management style felt reactive, closely managed, and inconsistent. That made it difficult to feel successful, regardless of the effort you put in. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment with constant change and little structure, this may be a good fit.
