Pros
Professional dress code and atmosphere - including individual offices, remarkable in this day and age. Sound management who show genuine concern for customers and employees. Can be a challenge to sell against bigger, more established companies. But if you understand sales, you know you're always competing against someone. There are always challenges, no matter where you are. Many advantages to a smaller company with a strong engineering team. There are a lot of very smart people there. Work hours are 9 to 6 Monday to Friday, and no one is expected to work overtime. You are expected to produce and to stay focused on your work. Is that a problem? Not if you take your job seriously. You can make a good income if you're not afraid to work and are willing to work the phones. People are friendly and are willing to share or help if you have question or a problem to resolve. Management rewards loyalty with loyalty, respect with respect.
Cons
Not many cons. There is something of a 'reserved' culture, not a lot of rah-rah or high-fives. No nonsense, no b.s. Not to say you can't have a little light fun, but you better be doing your job and not hanging around the water cooler. The idea is to do your job, get it? Don't be snooping around at what others are doing or saying. Those who treat customers or other employees disrespectfully will be gone very quickly. You're given some latitude but if you abuse it to the detriment of the company or another employee, you'll soon rue the day. Do not think you can get away with anything unethical or disruptive. Play by the rules, you'll be okay.
