Pros
Highlights: - Culture is comprised of kind, hard-working, and extremely intelligent individuals. While individuals often focus on their own success in sales, everyone I have met at Cyera has extended themselves to support me in my onboarding. - Cross-team collaboration is unlike anything I've ever seen, with the entire organization's focus on customer experience and the company's success. Despite being a startup, every team seems to make time to help one another. The product team specifically is working around the clock to further develop our product and remove barriers for our sales team. - The product flat out works - having heard from a number of customers, as well as employees that have come from other players in the space, it's clear that the product is designed to solve real world problems, and approach those problems differently than how our competition is doing so. Overall: I came from a company that has done very well in the observability space, and had disrupted the traditional players in that space. I joined that company at ~350 employees back in 2018, and I had the luxury of seeing what it takes to build a great organization. Having worked for a product lead organization for 6+ years, I can confidently say that Cyera's technology alone puts the company in a category of its own. However, what makes me most excited about the future success of the organization is the people. I had the opportunity to meet individuals from across the globe at SKO this past week and everyone had one thing in common - they genuinely cared about each other's success. From management, to new hires, to folks that have been at Cyera since the beginning, it felt like we were all focused on building the next big thing, together.
Cons
Cyera is going through hyper growth. While growing pains are present in any organization experiencing this type of growth, upper management seems to have selected the right individuals to help scale the business and mitigate the typical growing pains.
