Pros

You expand your vocabulary and learn on each call. Pay was decent to start. Easy hire process.

Cons

1) To strict especially for a call center environment with cameras everywhere. You can't have more then two pictures at ur cubicle you can't decorate it and that to me is depressing when you have to sit there all day everyday especially when you work 10hour shifts. You can't have paper on your desk when you go to the bathroom, you can't take long at the bathroom minimal break times. Calls come in one after the other no time to regroup after a stressful call. Supervisors: the are and higher cubicles and they monitor your calls but that is not an issue the issue is the intimidate the crap out of you because if you say for example "he put" instead of "he placed" or if the client says "take one pill and the other during the morning" and you translate saying "take both pills in the morning" you will get written up because they want word per word regardless if you are saying the same thing. The supervisor will place you phone on meeting after ur call ends for you to go to their high cubicle where then look down on u from to tell you that u are getting written up. If you get 3write ups u lose ur job. It is to damn stressful. It's hard to concentrate on ur call when you hear that beep letting u know someone is monitoring ur call and u can't afford to lose your job especially not over a word or sentence that is saying the same thing just not how they want it. Hr sucks. Not professional at all, hardly available and ur issues don't really matter to them. This company makes you feel like you're nothing. Just another chicken laying eggs and if u don't lay your eggs perfectly off to the slaughterhouse you go.

Pros

In all of my professional career, the IT work here is the most laid back I have ever been with. Sadly, the fun was short-lived after we were sold out when the company was acquired by its rival Propio. They laid off the entire IT folks, dismantling this competition, retaining only less than ten from the whole organization. But it was a pleasure while it lasted. Too bad because their folks were easy going and management is mediocre but I learned a lot, plus it was what I needed in my situation, where I had to multitask working while taking care of personal matters, so it was a bonus.

Cons

Nothing really complicates my tenure here except some projects are really slow in implementation, lacking clear requirements and at some point I was shoved into something where there was really no discussion at all about a project and you just have to dig into it but I have experience so it was no sweat for me at all. There was also a point where I heard a lie about a project being complete but when I started working on it I just realized it was not even started at all and the other is not even deployed or existing so there you go I just had to keep silent and work on completing it. Plus Propio conned us by giving us false hope into thinking we get severance pay but it is not really severance pay instead they just tapped into the our state unemployment benefit and made it look like it is a severance pay. Unemployment benefit is not severance pay.
