Pros

Pros? It's a paycheck. There used to be a whole lot more, but the new management has negated any other pros to working in Denver.

Cons

The two Denver Division City managers are the most childish, egotistical, ineffective, oppressing, manipulating, and bullying people that have ever worked in this division. People that have been there for 10, 15, 20 plus years have quit suddenly because of the foul treatment from management. They belittle people in public, and have made many loyal team members break down in tears and end up leaving. It's really pathetic what they have done to this division. They think that because the division has been very financially successful the last couple of years that they are untouchable. Many, many complaints have been sent to Corporate HR, yet nothing has been done to correct their behavior and their terrible treatment of hardworking, loyal employees. The division broke all kinds of records the last 2 years, yet they are not even so much as giving cost of living increases to their employees - even in a time where inflation is out of control. You're expected to work far more than 40 hours, but they refuse to pay overtime, rather offering "comp time" to make up for it. Problem is, they work you so hard that you cannot take that comp time. What they're doing is illegal, immoral, and despicable. But as long as those numbers keep coming in, their bonuses keep getting bigger, and they don't give two shakes about anybody else below them. If you're not in the boys club, you have a target on your back. And if you so much as tell somebody "be careful to stay on their good side or you will have a target on your back", you will be marched right out the front door. That literally happened to someone recently.... A very hardworking employee was just informing a new person that they should try to stay on his good side because if not you could be a target. Somehow he got wind of that, marched down the hallway and escorted that person right out the door. He was so upset and offended, that he was red with rage, shaking, clenching fists and slamming doors. All of that drama to basically prove that what she said was 100% correct. And none of that is an exaggeration. And yet, if you are in the circle, you can do no wrong, even when all of your co-workers attest to the fact that you are terrible at your job.. as long as you're cute, smile at them, and say "yes" to everything (and yes, that is an implied "everything") , you're in good with them. You're so untouchable that they'll even take you to lunch on your last day. If you're not, they will push you out the door before you have time to even ride out your two weeks notice when your eyes are finally opened to the horrific work environment and you decide to leave. They have created a toxic, hostile, and harrassing work environment, continually making fun of people to others, ignoring you when you try to speak with them, ignoring complaints, berating and bullying on a daily basis, and doing everything they can to make your life miserable. Do not apply to work in the Denver division unless you like being treated like an endentured servant. You will never get a raise, you'll never be praised for any accomplishments, you will be worked to the bone and not paid for it, and there's a pretty good chance that you'll be made to feel like a worthless human at some point. They do it to everybody eventually, just depends on the mood that day. Bullies aren't just teenagers in high school. They are also adults in offices with nice titles who think they have the right to break the spirits of others so they can feel better about their miserable lives.

Pros

You get paid well. The more you care, the better the reputation you will create and the better the clients will be.

Cons

Depending on community you get it can be more of a grind and take some time to get it running the way it needs to be. The drive to a community may be far from your house.
