Pros
Free monthly breakfast. Free food at monthly meetings. Across the street from a great shopping center. UHC or BCBS available for healthcare. Yeah. that's about it.
Cons
1)Favoritism runs rampant here. It is almost laughable how obvious the favoritism is. 2)Absolutely no training. None. 3)They actually held a contest offering incentives to employees for working.... OFF THE CLOCK... FOR FREE. Is that even legal? 4)HR cannot be expected to treat your concerns with respect, nor treat you respectfully when you decide to leave (and especially not when they decide to get rid of you). Be wary of giving 2 weeks or any notice when you separate. You will be escorted, possibly physically, off the property, without an opportunity to retrieve your belongings. 5)Marketing is little to non-existent, which of course makes your job even more difficult when no one has ever heard of you. 6)No respect for work-life balance (see Number 2) 7)Literally no room for advancement. Literally. The managers that are there have been there since forever. And they aren't going anywhere. You can move from tele-recruiter, to staffer. Yes! You guessed it, it's pretty much the same thing. 8)Micro-managing is the culture there. It's just the nature, the atmosphere, the environment, the ambiance. D&Y has developed a culture of micro-managers. They are quite good at it.
