I’ve been an employee of this company for several years now. Like many others, we've had our share of challenges and growing pains—but I’ve also seen the heart and humanity behind the scenes, and it deserves to be acknowledged. When the sister company was sold, the profits were shared with every employee, regardless of tenure. During the COVID epidemic, the company made a real effort to check in—delivering medical supplies and gift cards to employees. We have a Benefit Fund that supports employees going through hardship. Every holiday season, we give back to the community. On top of that, the owners are personally involved with numerous foundations—quietly, without seeking recognition. John, Debra, and Jim are kind, generous individuals who have given a lot, often behind the scenes. They don’t deserve the shade some past reviews have cast over the company. Before we pass judgment, maybe we should seek to understand more—and speak with the same fairness we’d want for ourselves.

Sometimes we got the leftovers from client meetings, and when they cleaned out the vending machines they let us drink expired Cokes for free. The bad coffee and bad vibes are complimentary.

The entire executive team gossips more than any teenager you know. If you tell any sitting “leader” anything at all at 8am, expect to find an employee you’ve never talked to before discussing your business to his wife over lunch. I’m a private person, but I would tell one person one thing and then hear another person slip it into conversation. The strategy here is simple: reinforce the rumor mill to keep employees paranoid, expect them to manage themselves, and act betrayed when those same employees leave for better opportunities. The constant feeling of being watched and listened to made me paranoid and depressed, especially because no one actually talks to you about anything directly. They save that for the rumor mill (including management). It goes without saying that this is a MAJOR red flag in a workplace, and there should be ZERO tolerance for it.   As for more technical dysfunctions: roles were often unclear or undefined, organizational restructuring would happen in secret and without warning, and the nepotism and bullying was rampant and unchecked. You’ll be asked to take on multiple roles without a pay increase, receive absolutely zero feedback or constructive advice from “management”, and then be expected to train every single person hired after you – including those who are supposed to be supervising you. There isn’t a single ex-employee who has nice things to say about this place, as you can see from all the negative reviews here (and the panic from whomever is commenting on the company’s behalf). If you’re considering an offer from them, don’t. Even if the money is good, you’ll get nothing but a prescription to anti-anxiety meds and PTSD. Keep looking - there are better companies out there.
