Pros
I worked as a staff accountant at DC Group for about a year and half. Most of my work was in accounting services but because I had expressed an interest in audit I was given the opportunity to join the seniors in some fieldwork and other audit related projects. Everyday presented new challenges and learning opportunities. The partners and managers are extremely approachable and knowledgeable. Administration and management constantly seek out new ways to make all around. Salary is competitive and the benefits are pretty awesome too! Fun culture...costume contests and happy hours are just a few events the firm puts on for its hard working employees.
Cons
During busy season expect to work a minimum of 50 hours per week but OT will be compensated. Some big projects occur during off season and staff are expected to put in overtime to get them done.
