Pros
Hard working employees who make great coworkers. Benefits package is good especially if one uses DCH system. If not satisfied in current position, there is usually another open for consideration as DCH has several places to work in community.
Cons
Because unit I worked in always low staffed, difficult time obtaining PTO as requested. Management not approachable. Overtime discouraged. Salary low balled with no way to improve as yearly raises based on evaluations with goals that are unobtainable. Pt safety issues not addressed appropriately as issues arise. Way too many chiefs in this organization.
