Pros

Great place to learn for new engineers. A lot of responsibility after the initial 3 month "training" period. You'll be running multiple projects before your first raise. Resume is irresistable to other companies after 3 years. Young work force re-inforces the "we're in this together" mentality.

Cons

They had a vision 3 years ago; a new generation of young engineers to spearhead the company into the new era...something went horribly wrong. A certain bankrupt chemical company took a strangle hold on upper management two years ago and they've lost the plot. The initial 16 hires has dwindled to around 4 remaining. Engineers are expected to travel out of town a minimum of 50% and upwards of 90%. Incredibly high turnover. The young leave for 20% raises and the old bc they don’t want to live in hotels and leave their families behind. Midland, New Mexico and East Texas. Avoid at all costs.
