Pros
Dont need to request to take time off.
Cons
They make it impossible to move upward in the company because there is no clear path to achieve this. They make no effort to retain their employees. You can have years of experience in a position and they will hire someone fresh out of school for 10-20K more than you. They act as if you are undeserving of more money when you ask for a raise. They will put off pay raises because of the yearly evaluation. Then give you a raise that just meets the inflation rate for that year. The bonus incentive program is a joke. There will be a large pool of money that they claim to want to give out but when it comes time to approving the bonuses they are denied. All DCS cares about is having a breathing body in the position. So they tend to hire lazy incompetent people. I would never tell someone to work for DCS. I would only recommend people to get a job at DCS so they will pay for your security clearance and then move to another company. The lower level management does a good job at keeping employees but the upper level management is always a hindrance and doesn’t care about anything other than doing less work. They claim to care about their employees because they are an employee owned company but all they care about is having a breathing body in the seat.
